Sat Chakra

Sat chakra is a modality of sat sanga in chakra, that is, in a circle. Do not confuse it with the term shat chakra, which means “the six chakras”.

The sat chakra is a practice in which the practitioners, with a minimum number of six people, sit themselves in the form of a circle and together, execute the following six angas:

1. absorption of energy through pránáyáma, pumping the energy of the air into the body and the prána to the chakras;

2. equalization of the energy through mantras, executing together the same mantra, at the same time, on the same volume and with the same rhythm;

3. dynamization of energy through the clapping of the hands, by rubbing the 35 chakras that we possess in each hand;

4. circulation of the energy, holding hands and closing the current;

5. projection of energy through mental imaging and/or laying of the hands; and

6. filter against karmic return through specific mentalisations.

For you and your best friends

After a successful opening period, the DeRose Method School now offers a diversity of schedules for you to choose.

Until the end of 2009, your first month is free1, a trial month.

As you may know, our way to grow is from the inside to the outside: so, with whom would you like to share your yoga sessions? Wouldn’t be nice to practice with your best friends? Invite two friends to practice and benefit from the free month trial offer.

In this way, we will grow surrounded by people we like, and we can create a special environment in our DeRose Method School.

Since we do not reserve places by telephone, why not come today, have a tea or coffee with us and check which classes are suitable for you?

Enroll for one month, and improve your health, gain flexibility and muscle strength, detox your body and lungs through breathing exercises, bring your brain to learn and think faster using millenary, yet simple concentration exercises, and so much more.

We will start with two modalities: one introductory stage called beginners2 and an advanced and more complete one, the DeRose Method.

“To all those who practice or study Yôga, sincerely and with a pure soul, we summon to participate in our work of Union

…to all those who are more concerned with building than criticizing, we bid to unite to be able to disseminate our message of Integration.”

Prof. DeRose

When possible visit the British Museum and don’t miss the Mohenjo-Daro exhibition, the cradle of the Dravidian civilization where Yôga was first conceived.

We belong to the a world wide network, which is a part of the International Yôga University, one of the biggest company of technical Yôga in the world, with over more than thirty years of experience.

We have more than 50 000 students in the 250 schools spread throughout Europe (France, Germany, Spain, Italy, United Kingdom and Portugal) and North and South America (USA, Brazil, Argentina and Chile).

International Yôga University is a gathering of different organisations, such as schools, cultural centres, associations and federations (International Yôga University, also known as Uni-Yôga). Uni-Yôga works with the goal of preparing, monitoring and providing advanced training to Yôga instructors in association with local Universities (it is a non-profitable cultural association).

Why Become Vegetarian?

There are as many reasons for becoming vegetarian as there are vegetarians; it’s a highly personal and individual decision to make. But in a survey conducted on behalf of The Vegetarian Society the majority of people said that they gave up meat and fish because they did not morally approve of killing animals, or because they objected to the ways in which animals are kept, treated and killed for food.

With the growing awareness of the importance of healthy food, many people are also becoming vegetarian because it matches the kind of low fat, high fibre diet recommended by dieticians and doctors. Concern about the environment is another factor as people become more aware of the effect raising animals for their meat is having on the environment. Or you may be concerned about wasting world food resources by using land to raise animals for meat instead of growing crops that can feed more people directly.

We are gearing up for the excited and awaited first event with Professor DeRose in United Kingdom.

Prof. DeRose is an educator, a writer, a common man who dedicates himself to writing about several subjects: behaviour, fiction, good manners, short stories, cooking, biography, philosophy, etc. He has written more than 20 books, which were published in several countries, selling more than a million copies. He’s almost retired from his other occupations.

DeRose re-educates his readers in order to become better human beings, politer, more travelled, more refined, more civilized, more cultivated, so that they can improve even their language and their good manners. He suggests a behavioural revolution with their families, their partners, their friends, with their subordinates and towards strangers. He also recommends that latent conflicts be solved politely, without further confrontation. All in one, he teaches breathing re-education, postural re-education, nutritious re-education, etc, hence providing the cultural and social background.
